Started with a dissapointing attempt to capture this jay taking off, then inspiration hit and started to tweak stuff in PS. Cropped, motion-blurred, desaturated greens and yellows, oversaturate the blues and came up with this version... :-)

appears a bit like a 'lens baby' shot (http://www.lensbabies.com/) or a lensbaby simulation (http://www.atncentral.com/download.htm#LensBlur used on http://www.myfourthirds.com/document.php?id=8879) or a zoomed while exposing. would also loved to see the bird sharp. anyhow a good idea.
