thank you Michael. Covering this sweep was a challenge with my pan/tilt/rotate head. Using the vertical adjusment on the head, and setting the camera sideways, (hard to explain) I swept through the first half of the image. Then I used the rotating base of the head to rotate 180 degrees then moved through the rest of the image. Unfortunately I didn't quite hit 180 degrees and the second half of the images were rotated slightly. So I had to rotate each of them back to a proper angle using photoshop, then crop each one back to the right pixel size. This left gaps around the images but they disappeared after stitching. Next time I will be more careful and hit exactly 180 degrees. There was also quite a bit of touch up in the final image to clear up missing details. Finally a levels adjustment was made using a mask to lighten up the doorways areas on the left and right. You are right about vertical vs. horizontal, it is hard to see it sideways but that is just my habit. regards, Larry Freytag Olympia, Washington

An intriguing concept
well executed.
A cross between a pattern image and an architectural showpiece.
