Slightly over processed for my taste? The light line along the horizon? Is that Highlight/shadow or oversharpening? The foreground comes out a bit muddy, and the clouds could be a bit darker. I'd also want to burn in the highlights around the left hand rock?
I know most of the grit edges, through climbing? Is this overlooking Ladybower?

This picture have nice atmosphere...but i agree with Tim about overprocessing...That line is probably result of some not very food masking...Sky is excellent and compo is good too...but the ground need more carefuly treatmant...Anyway,this shot have posibility.

Compo ...
works well to me, like it. As Denis and Tim have said, there is more training for technique necessary (as I have to notice every day for myself).

Stephen, PLEASE notice that nobody is knocking the image. It's great, I personally think it's great. It just needs a wee bit of PP work to make it really POP, and then you're into 9s and 10s. Keep up this standard, and I may have to kill you...

I think that this is an excellent composition with wonderful light and tone overall. The sky in particular is superb.
I think that Denis and Tim's processing comments are fair and that there is very strong potential here to improve it further. My own main crit lies in the water highlights; the do look a bit too bright, but I can see that it is important to have them there. I am on an LCD so it is difficult to judge how this looks in print form. They do add to the picture, maybe a little too forcefully in this form. Although I have to say that my PS skills are not up to this standard by any means.
I think that B&W conversions of this sort are possibly the most difficult things to achieve, the picture itself is almost in the fine art league I think...it is beautifully composed.
I am giving this a 9 to bring your overall score up just a bit. I think 7.5 is maybe a little too low.
Best wishes- Andy

Thanks for your comments I'm a new convert to Photoshop and have lots to learn with my PP skils, so far I'm only just scratching the surface with what PS can do, I knew I would get comments regarding the line between the sky and horizon, I will try and learn how to avoid this in future, I shot the image in RAW and did 2 conversions 1 for sky and the other for the FG then copied 1 onto the other so the line is where the 2 images meet. It's s steep learning curve but I'm learning stuff everday going Digital has revitalized my photography. Keep the comments comming, Cheers Stephen
