There is nothing just "another" about this image Horst. It is in fact very beautiful to me. I love the glorious golden light and the composition. I wonder if you have any more of these? I find myself wondering about a composition as well that leaves a bit of a gap at the left edge, like with no reeds leading out of the frame. Having said that I find your image very peaceful and tranquil on the eye.

Thanks Eugene ...
for taking time to comment.
"Another" was referenced to the earlier one.
This reed is growing from the land side. So there is not a naturally gap between some reeds. It was a question to take the right cut at left. Could be a little more to the right. But I decided to cut this way, so you could imagine once more reed outside the picture (I hope).
Thanks again, regards, Horst.

Sorry Horst! I see what you mean now. Doh! I commented on your second one which I somehow managed to miss when you posted it initially. Beautiful. Lovely work.

simple and elegant shot worthy of Japanese art; the texture on the water surface makes the pic look more interesting but they distort what could have been perfect reflections

simpel but pleasing
like the japanese appearing 'style'. how about a b/w? would probably enhance the japanese look. my version would have given the (longest) reet a bit more space to the upper edge and rotated the image 2° counterwise . would be easy to add some water by stamping on the upper ;). anyway like your golden version.

I like the japanese screen look. The colors and light are lovely. I also like the ripples in the water.

Thanks to all ...
for commenting.
On my learning curve I can make follow points:
- more DOF and maybee tripod for better reflections - more work for compo - always try in b&w
Thanks again, will try this in b&w.
BTW a question to michael or others. How can you get a picture in the comment as thumbnail, which is represented a greater one without 24h limit? Knowing this, I will easiely post the "parent" pic.
Kind Regards,
