Your choice to crop the cars to bits is interesting. Love this kind of scene and imagery, and it's nice to see the 7-14 mm used at something other than 7 mm!

Has somebody introduced a window tax?

It does get you wondering about what's on the other side of the wall!

I like this composition Ferd with the sky in the upper left as well as the portion of the other building and the partial cars below. Beautiful light.

I enjoy the colors and textures of this image. But what I find really appealing is the sense of hope the unwalled area affords. The open blue sky is a nice contrast to the filled in windows. I'm not crazy about the cars, but that may be because my interpretation of the image is not what you intended.

I had ment to comment on this shot when it first appeared but I had 48hrs disconnection from the internet so it had vanished by the time I returned to MFT. Another fascinating picture. Reminded me of a paintings by Paul Klee. The whole shot has an epic vision - for that's no small wall and tucked in the top right hand corner a very futuristic building that nearly looks drawn hint at the world beyond. An amazing use of surface. Keeping our feet firmly on the ground the tops of cars in a parking lot. A good one that I see is part of an interesting series. Having now discovered your Walls folder. MFT has many layers.

Hi Ferd, this popped up in my random box (at work...shhh..) and I was immediatley struck by its similarity to one of Harry Callaghan's photos, albeit yours is in colour. Unforunately I can't find a link to it, but there is a wonderful exhibition catalog of his photos availbale in the shops...again can't remember the name!!

I like the painterly aspect to this, very US 50/60s school, great colours. Maybe that building in the upper right corner looks a little overworked, but compositionally I think the whole thing works very, very well. A great photo.

Best wishes- Andy
