These matches in a jar I found on a window sill say something to me about home and Ohio, hence the silly title.

The photo was taken in natural light against a black backdrop. When I tried to retake the photo using artifical light, the life was simply gone from the glass. Sometimes the first photo is simply the best I can do.

I wonder how I missed this one?

This is a great image - not centered, the subject is simple, yet elegant. Simple everyday items brought to life.
