Airshow - Miramar - Fat Albert JATO

This is the C-130 support plane for the US Navy Blue Angels flight demonstration team or "Fat Albert Airlines". Fat Albert takes a turn in the air show before the Blue Angels perform. JATO stands for "Jet Assisted Take-Off", a 45 degree quick lift-off for short or undeveloped runways or where ground fire is a danger. Ground fire was not a danger at this air show.
