It's beautiful, but I find the front water/rocks scene distracting from the waterfall. The colors are deep and I love the timed effect on the waterfall - that's a very interesting concept.
Nicely done.

thanks for the comments. I also have tighter shots of the falls but they look like most other shots of falling water! I purposely tried to show the scene in this one. I don't like the logs that separate the pool and cut it off from the "flow".
I have another with higher pov that shows the pool better. perhaps tomorrow.

It's hard to 'make a difference' with a shot like this, David.
...because we see so many of them. They're very common, but still a distant second to sunsets (I'm not talking about MFT but photos in general). This is a creditable example of the genre, but not outstanding. For me the compo is predictably sliced and diced. The implied horizon, running through the logs, quietens the sound of the water for me. A portrait format, capitalising on the foreground would give it more depth and presence I feel. Sorry if I sound harsh. Not meant to be. Just DHC. Best wishes.

I would swear...
that this is actually "Upper North Falls" at Silver Creek Falls State Park. North Falls is much taller, about a third of a mile down stream and has a path that leads under the falls.
Here is a shot uf the same place photographed about a year ago.

Right you are Edwin! Thanks for the link. I have a shot or two just like it! Even the same branch in the upper right hand.
