Not quite 'pristine' enough to hold it's own yet...give it another month...:o)

The black and white version comes across as the stronger of the two images, and I can imagine its tonal beauty as set against a black background. The neautral gray used by MFT probably works for most images but, as you pointed out, it's probably not the best choice for the first image posted.

I would have to say the bw version comes across as a much stronger image , it seems to have much more depth to it.

I prefer the colour version. On my monitor all the colours in this one are so perfect why take them away? Good shot.

Aren't we so different :) I like this color version much more. Some of the details of the image that I wondered about are now clarified. However I am glad that this exercise has shown to you that you like the B&W better. It is most important that you feel good in the end result. Thx for posting the color version for us cruious folk.
