My new favorite!

Monica, this one is definitely my favorite so far, no question about it. (I know I've said that before, but this one is really "it.") Absolutely beautiful. I look forward to seeing *your* favorite when you post it, but I just don't see how it can top this one. I really hope you have a plan to display many or all of these as a group somewhere. If they were mine, I'd be searching the house for the perfect blank wall (or tearing stuff off of the walls to make room!).

I wish Alan & Mario would set up folders so that members could comment on a project as a whole. I would love to comment on these all as a group and I woyld have loved for people to comment on severasl of my series'. I have lobbied to deaf ears... sigh.

This is one of my favorites but I like yesterday's image a litttle bit more. Will not lower this ones rating bt scoring.

Definately the best so far. Love the movement in this image. I'd love to see the complete series as a single project on MFT instead of a number of individual images.

Well done, Monica

Another 10 from me Monica. I wish it was mine too. They get better and better., For me this is definitely my favourite so far.

Seems like some of us are thinking on the same wavelength albeit with differences. See my article here http://www.myfourthirds.com/document.php?id=21910 Monica.

This is a fantastic series of images Monica. Well done.

Fantstic colors. Brilliant composition!

Not sure ...

if this is more my favorite the your post from yesterdy, Monica. But both two are really very well rendered. Great series. On other hand I agree with E. Edwin about folders for series and a chance to comment on a whole series.

Like this very much.

Kind regards,

amzing photo and series, i hust would wish for a bit more of sharpness, but still this is a ten for what it is. I'm looking forward to see your favourite.

dynamic composition

This is the best of the series so far. The vertical fluid yellow diagonal exudes dynamism. The bright yellow foreground gradually transits to the cooler but still vibrant blue background. A very well dynamically balanced and I dare say exemplary composition. Congratulations, Monica. I hope you get enough 10s to get your well deserving HOF.

an amazing progressiion

I've watched you explore. A series of selective focus flowers was the hint you were on to something. You have now achieved what I call "style". Your images are immediately recognized when I see them.

This image is a pinnacle . Hard to believe it came from a camera. You really should dump the camera and pick up some brushes and dip some paint. congratulations.

nice work monica. for me though it is not explicitly photography anymore. could be a painting? a work of PP? the colors are splendid, imagination is turned on, but as a viewer I would appreciate some more "guidance", some "direction" what the photographer wants to express/communicate.

I feel like dancing out of the group here with a lower-than-10-rating, but as said, its more of an art and less of photography. to me.

This was such a wonderful series, and Marble Run was my favorite image of the bunch. Congratulations, Monica! Wish you were still posting as frequently as you used to. Your photos have been quite an inspiration to me.

I was surprised

to find that I had not rated this individual image. I think it was because of the series rating that took place.

I have used this series of pictures when talking about abstract photography to show how a bit of imagination and lateral thinking can produce a work of art and you now have a group of fans in the UK who know your work and name!

I also attended an art class where we discussed art (in depth!) and the lecturer is a reasonably well known artist and art historian. At one point we brushed upon photography as an art and I showed your images again. I am pleased to say that the reaction of class members and lecturer was very favourable.

I am pleased to see this image in the HOF, in fact I'd be pleased to see the whole series in the HOF!
