Kyle this captures the essence of Seattle perfectly. The rain, the person in perfect stride, the ferry and last but not least the most famous sign in Seattle. Well done!! I lived in Puyallup, WA when in high school so I know Seattle fairly well. This brings back nice memories.

I agree. I really like this picture. The only thing i would've changed was maybe waiting just one more second to take it. This would've balanced the shot perfectly and filled that empty part of the picture on the far left.

Thanks for the comments. Paul, I hear you with regard to waiting that extra second. The problem was that cars were going through that intersection every few seconds, blocking the view completely. You need a bit of luck to get a good composition at that corner and even with that it took weeks of revisiting the site before things came together.

Kyle, I agree with Paul's comments above. However, you clearly explain the challenges involved in producing this image. Those viewing our images often do not know just what it took and all that is involved in a specific photograph. We are all looking for 'perfection' or at least to try and attain it. Well done!
