Work of Art

Wolfgang...I'm amazed at how you took a very complex scene and made it into a work of art! The stairs are clearly the focus of attention when you first see the photo but later the viewer looks around to see that there's a variety of activity in the scene and that there are a multitude of wonderful colours throughout. And it's sharp! Kudos!

Nice curves...

I like the flow of the lines throughout, it almost gives the feeling of motion. I like the warm muted colors. Looks like a rather low light photo...what ISO were you shooting at. Regardless, the noise level seems quite minimal. Thanks for sharing.

NO SUBJECT

I couldn't believe my eyes as I saw one of my photos as 'Highest rated image'. Thanks a lot for your comments. It is a 200 ISO handheld shot.

What a beauty!

Both the picture and the café - I agree: works of art! Thanks for this lovely and unusual picture. Yvonne

NO SUBJECT

I had a bit of trouble deciding whether this picture was an 8 or a 9, but I gave it a 9.

bravo

This is a wonderful image with so much going on in it. But, I am a little bit bothered by the seated man in the upper left of the image being cut in half. I believe that edges are very important, as did my mentor who always pointed out edges on nearly every image. Nonetheless, a very, very nice image. Bravo!
