This is a wonderful and extraordinary composition with beautiful light and detail; in my opinion, the long stem on the far right –which is not focused - draws the attention away from the flower and the small bud, both of which are fantastic. If it were cropped to take it out, it would make this a HoF photo, a definite 10!

A very special composition with a fine placement of the flower and the bud with the light shinning on them. I agree it would look better with the long stem on the right cropped out.

Vaggelis and Amy for commenting. Appreciated as always. Re stem: I agree that it might be a bit too distracting. On the other hand IMHO the counterbalance to the flower would be not enough with only one stem (thatīs the reason for this compo). A solution could be to blur and darken the stem a bit.
