very nice...
i really like the quality of both of these, bruce. they should be happy with them. it appears as though you softened the foreground and background on these, yes? if so, share how you processed these, i think they work really well. nice mood and lighting. thanks for sharing.

Softening of background
I obtained the soft background by shooting wide open. The only post processing done was a bit of dodge/burn to darken the sky and open the shadows on the couple's faces.

ahhhh, yes...
it was the dodging then, what i was talking about specifically was the slight halo on one side of her, dodging would do that. thanks, john.
