Very good DV. Pleasing composition, it all fits nicely together. I like the conversion, but may have been tempted to make it warmer / more sepia like (but that's me, not you!!). Like it regardless

I am curious about your choice to place your whites in about Zone V or VI. The Highlights don't even make it to Zone VIII and properly they should be in Zone IX or even Zone X in extreme cases. The histogram flat lines from about the middle on up and ends well before its limit. The result is, this image looks quite dull and flat, especially for a mid-day image. A more judicious use of the available output levels and this image would shine!

This update also brightened the image to include more output levels too, so the general appearance has improved, and the histogram above no longer matches the image presented.

thx EEE for taking the time to comment...im not saying you're wrong...as a matter of fact i think you're right technically for the picture is underexposed according to the levels curve but technically correct is 1 thing, there's also the element of personal touch and taste ...in this case i started it out w a perfectly expoed image then purposedly set the curve down the last minute since the image was too 'bright' for my taste ...your mileage may vary...dont let my response deter you, feel free to continue to comment ;-))

cheers,
