Fabulous shot. The lighting is great, the skin tone is really good and the composition is attractive (not to mention the model) Have you borrowed that grey background from somewhere?

Background

Hi, thanks for your comments. The background is a 'dove grey' paper background. I know it coincides with the 'My Four Thirds" background, but this is purely by changce.

The lighting is really nice and soft (and plenty) and your choice of f10 is great. I enjoy looking at the outcome. The texture of her hair, skin, dress, and the hat is so real.

A class act

Well done, Clive. Portrait photography is not my thing but I admire great work of any genre. I especially like the tight framing and the sheen of light on the hat band.

Thanks for your comments--she was certainly comfortable in front of the camera. The whole shoot was fun and in fact I took this one of "Angelina" at the same time.
