I took a few shots of waves breaking between the groynes here. Most I deleted straight away but I liked this one.

Subtle colour that imitates a sepia toned print
This looks very nice to me, Adrian. The strong horizontal flavour of the groynes and landforms is opposed by the chaos of the wave. The vertical pole in middle ground becomes the focal point for me as I explore the whole image. The light and colours exude warmth, even though it may have been far from warm on the day.

NO SUBJECT
Phew, thanks Rob. I was begining to give up hope on this one. 24 hours seems to be about the limit for comments. I'm glad you liked it. I did too. Symbolic of the waves of shame washing up on the shores of our once great cricketing country? Or am I taking this all too seriously?

Too seriously
Your boys were far from disgraced in this Test, Adrian. I think they need support from back home, rather than criticism. I think they feel bad enough without Fleet Street getting heavily on their case. Take care and good luck in the Boxing Day Test. I look forward to Warne's next milestone. Looks like MFT has all but shut up shop for the Christmas break.
