i'm surprised this was taken at 20s...you must have used a ND filter? it looks like you had enough light here unless it's all in the PP ... a top notch BW conversion as always ;-))

You make it very hard...
... for anyone to top your B&Ws.
To me it just falls short of a 10 because the smoothness of the water contrasts too much with the edge of the rocky formation on the FG! But it all comes to a matter of personal taste, I'm sure... Also I understand that it couldn't turn out any other way. It was caused by the texture of the water, right?
Still, it's fantastic and I wished I could do one like this (sigh)...
(I won't rate it, so I don't mess that lovely average of 10)
Fantastic work as ever, Denis!

Nice composition. The sky is perfect, the FG though, is just a little flat for my taste.

Denis, a WOW shot for me. The water is nothing short of amazing. It creates a wonderful optical illusion for me, where the water looks like a sky of its own, not a flat liquid surface at all. If I look just at the lower portion of the image, I feel as if I'm standing at the bottom of a hill of rocks and craning my neck to look up into the sky. It's almost like 2 images stacked on on top of the other. I just love it. Clouds and rocks are great (as usual), and, as with so many of your shots, I love the little details--in this case, the small dark rocks(?) buoys(?) out in the water toward the horizon. But the quality of the water is my favorite part, absolutely breathtaking!

Thank you Dee vee,Alex,Ricardo,Alan,Eugene and Elisabeth...
I think i use here both ND and polarise filter...it is taken maybe 20 minutes after "the branch" - link under the picture... i want in conversion to make this more cold to oposite "the branch" where tone is warm...i am standing on little peninsula that is visible on "the branch" picture...and ten minutes later i run with tripod .camera and everything because it start to rain (a lot)
