Really like this. You must have done a bit of straightening of those verticals! I like these kinds of repetitive patterns and the coke sign is nicely placed to give a little bit of added interest. I'm not saying you should have, but did you consider trying to clone out the rest of the sign and leave the coke sign in isolation?

Compositionally as tight as a duck's ass and works wonders. Good to see you posting again Ferd ... Leaving the humour aside, yes the whole thing is sad ... such a tragedy in the first instance and a travesty in the aftermath. I am sure that there are many stories ......

A classic Ferd image! So absolutely clean and precise, very skillfully executed. Adrian's idea is interesting, though I do like the way the sign extends out of the frame on the left. It makes me think of the building stretching outward in both directions, and I think I would miss the wording on the sign. "Shoppe" and "gifts" seem out of place on a big office-type building such as this and I love those kinds of disconnects. I like the shadow at BR for the same reason I like the truncated sign; it makes me think of the scene beyond/next to the building.

Hope you have many more images from your travels. Little gifts from your journey for the rest of us to enjoy!

this looks like late 60s or early 70s architecture: it's not my favorite type of architecture but you made it look very interesting to the eyes, w the duplication of patterns and the inclusion of the round Coke sign ...Hope the city is back to normal ...Have a safe trip ;-))

An other great ...

wall from you, Ferd. Compositionally this is again first class, like most of all the small shadow down RHS (a typical Berfle mark :-))

There is no sign of human life in this in this picture and I guess there is no life behind this wall. So it looks indeed a bit sad. Canīt believe that there is again normal life at all in this town.

Glad to see you posting Ferd, best wishes

I thought this looked Berflesque! I like that an occasional black opening has some little detail within. Nice to see another one of your images.
