hey we got a free pano view of the ghost town of Bodie (?) ... a good perspective from inside the antique vehicle ...but i wonder if the ceiling were a bit too much here for if you lower it the attention would be mor towards the town ? another good one Bruce ;-))

dv,

Yep, when I crop this for a 12x18 -- taking it out from the top should work nicely.

I thought I recognized Bodie. When we went there 4 years ago, it was snowing and bloody cold, so we didn't stay long, but the look of the town stayed in my mind.

This image is a very interesting view, Bruce. I'm not sure I'd crop-out the interior of the car all that much, it adds so much interest to what might otherwise be another "ho hum" image.

Very well done!

I like this shot. Well, of course I do. It reminds me in concept and presentation of "Pillbox Panorama". I like the details above in the shadows very much.

This also reminds me of High School because a good friend had a '36 (or was it a '37?) Buick with a straight 8. Loved that car! His had a steering wheel and door panels though... ;-)

Yes ...

Pillbox pano, what a great photo. That makes me think perhaps here the photo could have been cropped a bit from the bottom (and the top?) to concentrate the view to the pano of this lost town. So I canīt really see the main object: should it be the car or the pano of the town? Just my personal thoughts, the picture I like very much.

Best wishes,

I would also have kept the crop as you did because the detail on the roof and near the floor where the light hits the ground are very good. It seems that this shot is actually about the car with the landscape as background (even though it is central to the image) I really like this one Bruce. The feelings of decay are very strong.
