Nice vignetting effect. The soft image makes this look like an old photograph.

Really nice image, dee vee. The vignetting and brown tone add an antique effect. My eyes detect a slight lens distortion (the building tips backwards?), but it's not distracting. The presence of the carriage makes the image special.

One ting I love about your pictures is that one can recognize them instantly in the galery! They all have your "mark". This one I love also, so cary on!

the beauty of european architecture agree w/ Bruce on vignetting (i call it Holga effect). And feel the same thing like Misha. ( dont know why but i think its of your strong vision or something ??? ) brgds gunawan

Bruce ...old architecture deserves old treatment ! ;-))

funny you mentioned about lens distortion; i'd say wide perspective ; straight lines can only be achieved through rectilinear lenses or 'distorted' (adjusted) in photoshop

Patrice ...not sing to you like a poem you sent me? cheers ;-))

Misha: the mark of DV? sounds like a Zorro mark LOL

Gunawan: Holga, it's one camera i haven't used ... strong vision? i wear glasses LOL

Cheers, ;-))

Excellent conversion, as allways. What I like most though is that I cannot see anything modern on the photo. You managed to keep a colplete old look this way.

BTW: Two days ago the Netherlands remembered all war victims and placed flowers at the monument you left out of the frame but is on the same square. It's our national monument.

Beautiful old building, Nice conversion, and I like the vignetting, makes the image look older.

Nice again dee vee. One of the most crowded places in Holland, at 5 o'clock, and you make it look like another century.

A truly great photo dv. I love those two pigeons (?) in left of the frame. Also the absence of people. To me it looks like another age. Regards, Jeremy

The horse and carriage have a wonderful look to them and I love the detail in the building. Lets not forget the pavement stones, the movement in the swirls for me is a nice contrast to the hard corners and lines in the building. Very nice!
