Now *that's* a beautiful bee capture. I can tell you, I've got the same lens and extension tube, and have taken lots of macros, but have never even come close to getting a bee image like this. The bee itself is wonderful (LOVE those hairs on the lower edge of the abdomen) but the colors in this one are great, too. I love the blue and yellow and pinkish OOF spots in the background, and the deep pinks and purples of the flower. The image is very colorful without being busy or taking too much attention away from the bee. My only tiny quibble is that I wish there were just a bit more space above the topmost wing, but that's really a nitpick. An excellent shot.

I have to agree with Elisabeth & Chris on this one Martin. I haven't had my macro lens for long, but certainly long enough to know it's not an easy art. This is VERY well done...
