This is wonderful. Such an excellent story contained in here as if the bull has just come around the corner and said "anyone looking for trouble?" The frightened excitement in the faces and those legs scrambling to safety complete the tale. I also like the dusty sunlight. Maybe a little less highlight in the Bull's eyes would help although I think the evil glint is important. I think bullfighting is wrong but this is a great shot.

Pedro - i like this a lot for its atmosphere. I once attend such a gathering of bulls for the corrida and I also very impressed by it. I am also one of those who is repelled by the corrida and at same time terrible attraced by it - I guess I am typical waste-separating, women-understanding, warm-water-showering, teletubbies-back-winking, shadow-parking, medicin-package-insert-reading German-speakers :) Klaus

Can only echo Adrian's words here, on all points. I love the tableau feeling of this; if it were staged (which I know it is not), you couldn't have done better. The glint in the bull's eyes is great, but much oversharpened for my taste, especially as the rest of the image is so beautifully softened by the effect of the sunlight and rising dust. I will try not to think about the fate of the poor bull, trying to imagine a happy ending like that of the classic children's book Ferdinand.

Klaus, Elisabeth and Dee Vee. Just for curiosity, this kind of "Garraiada" don't cause injurys to the bull. At the end the bull lives happy and healthy. Cheers to all.
