A shot of a Fighter plane known as the Corsair while at the EAA AirVenture Airshow in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. While taking a few shots of the aircraft I was kindly asked by Security to please get off the "Active Taxiway". The area was not marked but I kindly appologized and went on my way. The Corsair is a fighter from WW2, and Korean War era. Any comments are greatly appreciated.

Beautiful Beast

Finally, someone else is posting pictures of aircraft. You got a great shot of a beautiful machine, but you've got to remember, they do need their runways! :) Much too often, shots of anything but people or landscapes get no comments, but I wanted you to know that there are some of us that appreciate warbirds, so bravo! I've got a few on my folder. Check out "Clearing the Load" and you can look at the rest in my folder. I'll be going to yours to see anything else I've missed. Keep up the good work.

Hello Christopher. Nice capture of the "Whistling Death" aircraft. Yes, photos of any type of motor craft on MFT seem to go unappreciated. Not here!

Thanks for your replies guys. Sadly, the day after I had shot this aircraft. Two P-51 Mustangs had collided as one was taking off and the other was landing. One of the pilots were killed in the accident.

Thanks again for your comments. ;)
