Hops?
As Cartier-bresson said, 'There are only coincidences.' but serendipity is this then. We had been for a long country walk and the hedges were full of these hanging way up in to the top of the trees. Not as large as this but equal in there signaling that autumn is just round the corner. It reminds me I need a beer. Cheers!. Great light.

It is really ...
stunning, how this green comes out of the dark and how subtil the light lies upon that thingi (hop I guess). And how subtil other parts are visible in the dark. Beside that a pleasing compo, E. Edwin and tack sharp. Altogether a great work, have it deeply to admire.
Best wishes,

Thanks for visiting Martin. Yes, this was very early morning, and I spent about 45 minutes looking for the quintessential hop flower and then photographing it while shading the background with a notebook.
We do like them sharp Horst! Thank you very much.
Not quite fully functional yet Jeff. No email and lost most of my programs, happily not my photos. All my Photoshop actions are lost as all all my email contacts. crap
Thanks to the three of you.
