I like this one Eugene, a smooth talker, or at least this conversion creates the mood and then we have the journal to create the interplay needed to create an event worthy of capturing.
Congrats on your new toy. Hope to see how far you can take that baby.
Thanks Valter. I was in my favourite cafe in Dublin having just bought this lens and I was immediately struck by the presence of two worlds in this cafe - one the ordinary everyday scenario of a saturday in Dublin and the other ..... Thanks for noticing and for commenting.
You must be pleased with the new purchase. I hope it works well for you. Photographically this is an acutely observed scene with a good title (although a piece of cake in the foreground would have just finished it off). Personally I would have cropped a bit off the bottom but you probably have very good reasons for not doing that.
ah...this new world....smoking i presume not allowed...?and leica...? From Andy pictures that i see i think you will be very happy with this lens...very good purchase and i like this picture...
Many thanks for your kind comments and good wishes. Glad you enjoyed the pic and the social observation therein.
It could have been a bit sharper. The reason it isn't is because I took the shot with the camera on the table as I wanted to be hidden as a photographer so to speak and not bring attention to myself by bringing it up to my eye. It looked sharp on the backscreen but when I got home, not as much as I would have liked it to be.
It's situations like this that I'm really looking forward to getting the E3 and to be able to have the use of the flip out back screen for getting those discrete shots.
Yeah, it's a lovely lens and combined with the 11-22, they are my current favourite lens.
