I really do like this and love the muted tones of the foreground and wall.
Just woundering how it could look with a slight boost in contrast without effecting the dog.

Great capture! I have a street in mind where I like to go for coffee on a Saturday (was waiting for my E3) and capture people in various whatever and this reminds me of that. My street has very shaded lighting though and the light here is really good. This one is quite near to a green b/w if you know what I mean?!

The blue/green colors in this photo give it an eerie and cold look. I like the effect of it. It also looks like she is in complete solitude.

Very nice. The color palette compliments the subject. I might try cropping little tighter from the right. All in all nice shot. The cold weather part is a bit too much though. Judging by her clothes it is not even sub zero in celsius ;-)

I love all the ingredients that are visible in this image deevee. The girl with her toque and glasses, the dog, and even the scraps of litter all contribute to the effectiveness of the photo. Then there's the toning, composition, etc.....but her legs are too short!! :-)

thank you all for the comments
Paul, the harsh light was flat overall on this day, i did try to bring down the highlight, and there's not much shadows to play with ...
Eugene; i 'd like my images to look mono w just a tiny bit of colors, enough to make them look more interesting
Wiliam, i was lucky to single her out , yes i wouldn't want too many characters in the shot here
Geert, SF is like Paris, people love their dogs
Matti; i thought the right corner angle adds a bit of character to the whole scene, w/o it 'd be a bit bland ..as to the cold weather it's all relative, around here anything close to freezing is cold LOL
Blayne, you're very observant, with a bit of PS magic her legs can be lengthened to taste ;-)) ...cheers ;-))

I like the various tones and the way the girl is looking back at the dog. Also her hat complements the dog's fur. As to cropping from the right, I am ambivalent. I see your point and yet find the light band a little distracting. A fine photo.
