LOL! I remember this scene. The dog's owner was off somewhere. (Maybe jogging? That seems to be a popular pastime at Baker Beach). Anyway, folks, dee vee is standing there with camera and tripod, taking pictures of the dog, and the dog is totally ignoring him. Most dogs would at least lift their head and have a look, but as far as this fellow was concerned, dee vee didn't even exist. It's like the dog was thoroughly bored with the whole thing. Finally, the owner showed up, called the dog, and they both left.
Anyway, dee vee, this is a really nice image. The dog snoozing in the sand adds a bit of whimsy, but the shot is quite nice on it's own. I particularly like the tire marks in the sand, as well as all the footprints. Oh, and that bridge in the background is kinda nice, too. :-)
Regards, Chris

Cool dog. A nice and quiet scene, I'm curious about a more warm color version.

You made it look quite cold with your treatment, deevee. Still believable though.

the composition could not be better, the toning also works well for me. I am just slightly distracted by the lack of sharpness (motion blur?) here.

A fine composition with lots of interesting detail. The toning adds a surrealistic feeling to it.
