A very nice grove indeed with lots of interest to let the eye wander over.

The thumbnail looks like a negative, or at least infared. But these trees always have that bleached bark look.

I like the title. These secret, out of the way, beautiful hiding places kind of makes you feel just a little euphoric.

Oh, I absolutely LOVE this! You've hit my "B/W Trees" button perfectly. I love the level of fine detail, the way the trees almost fill the frame, and the conversion. The composition is fantastic; I especially like the two large triangular spaces of light and dark at the top of the image, which surround the larger traingle formed by the trees themselves. And I'm impressed by the amount of detail you've kept in the blacks, and the way the trees stand out with their near-white values. The sparkling white snow makes a lovely base for the trees. I could look at this for a long time (preferably framed and on a wall).
