A very simple and moving image, especially as we are near a sad anniversary. It's good that you chose to leave this in color. Excellently done and the snow is perfect.

This is a very poignant picture and a tribute to the veterans. The picture is graphically beautiful, as is the light.

Robert, I can only echo what everyone else has already written. It is, indeed, a beautiful and moving image. Very deft handling of the light and tonality which does justice I think to the subject matter. I'm also impressed with the composition and especially the placement of the darker markers within the scene.
