Market potential could be good for point-n-shoot photographers wanting a step up. Will not be in my camera bag. So neither answer available answers the posed question for me. Viable? Yes, probably. Will I buy one? No. So I chose the "thumbs down" answer.

Of no interest to me...
...hence thumbs down. But could be good for Olympus sales to crossover users. I like SLRs and optical viewfinders.

A thumbs up, but really depends on what they come out with: a tough little no nonsense camera with VF for street shooting (think "cheap" Leica) and I'm there - a mass appeal compact with too much faffiness on it and probably not. I fear the latter.....
