Bob, I like the photo, but imho, I would have increased the DOF slightly to bring in one or two more buds into focus. Still, very nice colors and overall image.

Your lilacs haven't bloomed yet? Ours are already finished. It's one of my fav scents. Agree with Doug on the DOF.

Marianne - I should have included our lilacs are at their peak right now. We have a very large botanical garden in our area which includes a lilac dell with hundreds of lilac bushes. The purfume is incredible.
