The lead singer really sticks out, as he should. The background makes the whole nicely surreal. Were you there as a spectator? I doubt I'd be allowed to bring a professional looking camera to a concert, and tripods are certainly not allowed because of security reasons.

Thanks Jimmy for your comments. Yes I was there as a spectator, oddly enough I just walked through the gate with a backpack and monopod attached to it with no questions while my wife was stopped and made to throw away her soda that she had in hand. It seems they were more concerned about making money on concessions then cameras and photography. For some reason this outdoor event has never hassled me. Indoor events seem to be a different matter in my experience.

Hi Charles, I'm glad the security left you alone. It's fun to photograph these sorts of events. You have done really well here. There's plenty of interesting elements within the frame, without being too busy. Love the stage lighting/smoke

Thanks Jeremy for your comments, yes this was a very theatrical concert with elaborate stage sets, smoke and lighting. The music was good too, at least I thought so, my wife, not so much.
