This is pretty much as it came out of the camera - just a little bit of sharpening. I realise the edges of the shot aren't in focus but I'm not sure that matters. Not what you might call an attractive location. You can imagine the smell.

this may not be attractive to the city planners but may well be to the photogs; it's one subject I'd love to shoot! cheers ;-)

Having lived in a big city - I can smell it from here......... Great POV. One could argue that the blurred edges only serve to draw your attention to its depths. Very nice

Grimsville, but fascinating. The yellow paint must be a health and safety feature!

Thanks guys. I'm glad you all managed to see the beauty within the ugliness.

Adriian - it took me a while to appreciate this, I found it a bit confusing at first. Yes, it really has a lot of depth. quite fascinating ...

I've certainly lingered here a hell of a lot longer than I would have in the real place.

Well arranged and presented.

I'm now wondering if the next time I get a whiff of stale urine will it trigger a memory of this image?

Very much like this picture, Adrian. Proves that things do not have to be beautiful to make great and interesting photographs.
