NO SUBJECT
A nice choice of subject for a HDR type exposure. I don't mind the purple tones in the foreground wall on the left, or the arch, but the one solid purple wall in the center is extremely distracting and overpowers the rest of the details. - at least to my eye. Just a little "too much" - maybe it could be desaturated a bit? Cheers

not sure if Elsace is the same as Alsace but certainly a place I'd love to visit; like Doug I find the purple a bit blinding but overall a rather pleasant town to be taking pictures of ...cheers ;-)

yes iyt is the same ...Alsace ...in German it is written with a E but i corrected . and the colors to ....i like your crittics .....yes it is a HDR like immage but like that it gives a litle Fantasy Touch ......

I rather like the treatment here but what I can't get past is the feeling that this image needs straightening, it leans to the right. If this were my image I would do one other thing. I would select the white sky and using the gradient tool in Photoshop I would select a light blue and just add a light blue sky. This would make it pop and get rid of the drab sky. Otherwise I do like this image.

Charles may be right, but a lot of these buildings are actually leaning into the street. They were constructed this way so the top floors would have more space than the bottom floor.

Alsace
Thanks ...Jimmy is right ....there is nothing straigt in a medieval Town in Europe .spacialy in a town who is buildet with Timber framing Houses who are 400-600 years old .
