The rock you see is full of Iron and can be found near the town of Sydney on Nova Scotia Canada. This photo has been mad out of a boat with pretty high waves and out of hand.

My first thought was: this is not Holland. So thanks for sharing where you shot this. It's a magnificent bird, and I very much like the composition with him (her?) on the right, looking left. The eagle looks pretty angry as well, as if he's frowning.

indeed a very good capture for I've tried the same thing on a cruise boat in Alaska and most came out blurry ...the iron clad rocks are also awesome!

Another excellent shot, esp. considering the high waves. Like how the iron rock adds color to the background, providing natural contrast to the eagle.
