Chris, when last in Europe (2008) I think gas was over $1 US/liter. Probably higher now. I'm sure if I get back, it will be a bicycles and trains for me.
(Instead of giving our corn and wheat away, I think we need to swap it for some oil - maybe gas prices would come down a bit):-)) Cheers
