This is great. Looks like a giant cork from a bottle. Definitely a double take moment.

Beautiful shot, Don. A friend show up with the lens yesterday, and let me play it a bit with his Pen 3. It looks so small, light, and fast! And the image is amazing! I would end-up with the lens soon or later, as i think i need to explore more landscape shoot with wider reach than the kit lens i have.

Thank you for this excellent 'sample' shot! ;)

thanks Yoki, i was debating between this, the 7-14mm , and the 14mm; the 7-14mm is too bulky and expensive and can't sport filters; the 14mm too limited and not wide enough; the 9-18mm is just about right, small , cheap, can use filters, and sport the more usable focal range for me ( i often shoot at 9mm or 18mm) ; optically they're all good; hope you get yours soon ... cheers ;-)

Great image to show scaleing perspective, the unsat tone works well here.

Don, do you think it is important to be able to sports filters on this kind of lens? I never used one (other than the standard filters to protect the lens). Do you have any suggestion what kind of filter that I could try and explore? Also the benefits? Sorry for this basic question, I really have no clue.. Appreciate your response on this.
