"Corky"

Off-camera flash used for this shot- on the ground actually. Played with a few camera-raw settings but not too much. Only had a few minutes before we lost too much daylight so I had to rely on luck to hope that Corky would look at the camera. Thanks Corky!

A big part of my photography business that I started last month will be based on charitble causes to spread awareness through my photography. In this case- encouraging dialogue and the joy of either pet adoption and/or volunteering w/ your pets. Cheers :)

I like the composition Ramon, and the colors are almost like Ektachrome. Corky's face and muzzle are a little soft - maybe f8 would have helped. cheers.

Beautiful colors and such cooperative objects you have there, Ramon. I think the rather soft image works for me on this one; it suite the objects nicely.

Ramon - I think this turned out almost perfect. The colors are superb (just the boy's face on the right is too orangy / yellow imo). Maybe if there was a chance two take a second shot (which of course is not possible anymore) I would wish that more of the dog was visible.

yep, a gorgeous shot of love between man and animal ...one for the family room wall for sure! ;-)

more about Corky

such a cute puppy- did a mini family shoot with them as well and actually got Corky biting Tyler's dad's nose.

about the focus- for kids and puppies, my style is definitely more on the "softer-side" of things. The actual printed 16x20 had more of a glow effect that the screen can't seem to do justice.
