what a shot (perhaps a close crop?) ...even the E5 AF couldn't keep up with the eagle ...but glad you caught a piece of the action! :-)

Thanks Don, yes this is a crop, probably a quarter of the image area. I was following this eagle in flight taking photos as it flew when it grabbed the fish out of the water. The 70/300 is frustrating at time not wanting to lock on to focus esp with the 1.4 teleconverter attached, but the more I use it the better I'm getting with it. Still most are not in focus.
