Super-Takumar 1:1.8/55mm at F5.6.

Fifty years ago this was a basement in alley underneath Art's Sports Shop on 4th Ave SW and SW 153rd Seattle WA. It was used to house the local library which was very small at that time. The building has been through numerous earthquakes and it looks a little beat up.

Update 05/18/12 Deleted previous comments after shooting this again with G2+ Zuiko 14-54 2.8-2.5 Mk1. The performance of both lenses was quite similar. What I thought was a problem with the ST 1.8/55mm turned out to be nothing different than what the Zuiko 14-54 Mk1 would do under the same circumstances. The Super-Takumar actually outperformed the Zuiko 14-54 at f4. At f5.6 there wasn't much difference.
