June 2006 - Artificial Landscape
This competition is no longer active. Rating your own image will not take effect. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NOT REMOVE YOUR IMAGES FROM THE COMPETITION FOLDER AFTER THE COMPETITION HAS ENDED BECAUSE IT RESULTS IN YOUR SCORES BEING LOST. Submit your photos associated with a scene whose primary subject is composed of an artifical or man made landscape. This idea was taken from another photographer (can't remember his name or book) whose exhibition was composed of landscapes made of tire dumps, recycling material and a mine pit as examples. A city scape is a most obvious example but not as creative. Forests, rolling hills and sea scapes would be considered natural landscapes and therefore not appropriate for this competition. For those of you who want to quantify the definition of "primary subject" in the first sentence, at least 33% of the photo must be made up of the artificial landscape in question. Good luck! |
