A Flash Extender

I take macro at really close distance. So close that the light from the flash on top of the camera is not pointing at the subject. Even when it does, it casts harsh shadow. The conventional solution is to use ring or twin flash. But they are quite unwielding in the field and they cost more than the macro lens itself. So I improvise with cardboard. The result is a light and inexpensive solution that could also be described as flimsy and cheap, depending on your point of view.
